Dr. Anshida Mayeen joined the Inter University Centre for Nanomaterials and Devices (IUCND) in July 2020 as a Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) under the guideship of Dr. Honey John. After having completed M.Sc. in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, she earned a Ph.D. degree in Physics working with Prof. Dr. Nandakumar Kalarikkal in 2019, at School of Pure and Applied Physics (SPAP), Mahatma Gandhi University. Her Ph.D. work mainly focused on the development of electroactive polymer- ceramic nanocomposites for multifunctional applications. Her major research interests include development of magnetoelectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric nanomaterials for tailored applications. Dr. Anshida Mayeen also worked as Assistant Professor (contract basis) in Department of Physics, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, from 1.08.2018 to 15.1.2020. Currently she is working on the development of biocompatible piezoelectric nanogenerators for implantable device applications. Click here for Dr. Anshida’s Citations
